On Rozetka, EU sellers ship each order from the EU directly to the customer in Ukraine. All the information on this page is based on this model.

The customer, or the carrier or customs broker acting on the customer's behalf. You send the parcel from the EU as the seller, and it is cleared in Ukraine in the customer's name. This is why you don't need a company or a representative in Ukraine.

Yes. You can work with any carrier that delivers to Ukraine and gives you a tracking number for each parcel.

If you choose a cross-border postal service, keep in mind that a single parcel can weigh up to 30 kg, no side can be longer than 2,000 mm, and the length plus the largest circumference can't exceed 3,000 mm. It’s worth discussing this matter before get started.

The customer. Parcels up to EUR 150 are currently free of import VAT and customs duty. For more expensive parcels, the customer pays the import charges.

The threshold is EUR 150 per parcel. Up to that value, the customer pays no import VAT or duty. Above it, 10% duty and 20% VAT are charged, but only on the part of the value above EUR 150.

Ukraine is working on new rules for low-value parcels, but they are not in force yet.

It depends on your carrier and the type of shipment, so agree the exact set of documents with your carrier. On all documents, your company is the sender and the customer is the recipient.

The main rule is simple: if a product can't be legally sent to Ukraine in an international postal or express parcel without commercial customs clearance, a licence or a special permit, it can't be sold on Rozetka by EU sellers.

The groups below are the most common examples, but the list isn't complete. If you're not sure about a product, ask your Rozetka contact person before you list it.

• Excise goods: alcohol, tobacco and nicotine products, including vapes and e-liquids.
• Cannabis and CBD: cannabis and THC products, CBD ingestibles and oils (unless expressly approved).
• Medicines and medical products: prescription and over-the-counter medicines, steroids, hormones, peptides and medical devices.
• Food products: fresh, chilled or frozen meat, sausages, lard, milk, cheese, dairy products, fish and seafood (canned products in factory packaging are allowed), as well as pet food.
• Seeds, seedlings and plants.
• Dangerous and flammable goods: chemicals, poisons, explosives and radioactive materials.
• Weapons, military and dual-use goods: firearms, ammunition, knives designed as weapons, tasers, brass knuckles, drones and UAV components, night vision and thermal imaging devices, military-grade electronics, encryption and interception equipment, high-power lasers, certain chips, CNC and military-use components.
• Jewellery, antiques, precious metals and stones: jewellery, antiques, gold bars and coins, silver bullion, platinum, palladium, diamonds and loose gemstones.
• Counterfeit goods: fake branded items and brand replicas.
• Illegal products: illegal drugs, narcotics and psychoactive substances, drug paraphernalia and stolen goods.
• Sanctions-sensitive goods: goods from sanctioned countries or regions, goods involving sanctioned persons or entities, products intended for restricted end use or military users.
• Adult products: pornography, sexual services, sex toys and other adult products (unless specifically allowed and age-gated).
• Financial products: prepaid cards, stored-value cards, gift cards and other cash equivalents.
• Documents and personal data: IDs, passports, certificates and personal data lists.
• Animals and biological goods: products from endangered species, live animals and biological samples.

You create labels with your carrier, or through a supported multichannel tool if you use one. Then you hand the parcel over to the carrier as usual and share the tracking number for the order in your seller's account.

Your carrier's rules. Rozetka has no extra packaging or labelling requirements.

If you ship in cross-border model, each parcel must also stay within the postal limits for Ukraine:

• no side longer than 2,000 mm,
• the length plus the largest circumference (measured around the parcel, not along its length) no more than 3,000 mm,
• a maximum weight of 30 kg.

No, delivery pricing is up to you. You can also offer several delivery options, for example a cheaper standard one and a faster express one, each with its own price and delivery time.

From the parcel tracking. Please make tracking available for every order, so that both you and the customer can see where the parcel is and when it was delivered.

There is no standard delivery time. Customers who order from EU sellers choose for different reasons: the price, products that are hard to find in Ukraine, European quality and more.

Your product pages on Rozetka will show that the item ships from Europe, so customers know where their order is coming from and can take this into account when they buy.

As the seller, you are responsible for the order towards the customer, so you sort the case out with them. How the loss is covered between you and your carrier depends on your contract with them. It's worth checking the carrier's insurance and liability terms before you start shipping.

It depends on your agreement with your carrier: whether and how the parcel comes back to you, and who pays for the return. It's best to agree on this before you start shipping.
